My story:
Like far too many
parents, my expectation of school being a gratifying experience for my
son
turned into a nightmare, as he entered 4th grade. Instead of a
healthy,
happy child who had loved school, I had a sullen, seemingly
non-motivated
child, whom I thought simply did not try. Despite long hours of helping
with
homework (2-3 hours a night), tutors, extra help from teachers and
special
alternative teaching approaches, he hated school. He was asking in the 5th
grade, “when can I quit school, what age can I drop out?”
After
considerable
research, I discovered the Crossinology’s Brain Integration Technique
(BIT) and traveled to Boulder, Colorado to have him treated by a
certified
practitioner. Within 6 months my son’s reading level went up, he was
excelling in school, confident in himself and no longer asking when he
could
quit school. He is now a 6th grader, loves school, can go out
for
track now because he no longer needs 3 hours for homework and 2 hours a
night for
a tutor. He will talk to anyone about Brain Integration.
He is
the reason I became
passionate about the Brain Integration Technique and became a certified
practitioner.
My vision is to see BIT available in every school system across the
United
States.

Subject: testimonials.
“I am completely amazed. B. went to his room on
Sunday
to work on reading and writing assignment (fill in the sentence with the
correct word from a list, which would require him to read and understand
what
he read.) Generally I give him about 10 minutes to look things over
before I go
up to help him figure out what he’s suppose to be doing. He was done
before I had the chance and it was all correct. It this even possible
when he
has not completely finished the treatment? I can’t wait for him to
complete the entire program.”
Thanks so much

Thank
you Star, I was overly excited to hear about BIT when I accessed your
massage site at work. My 6 year old son has ADHD like his older
sibling. When I read about the technique I knew we would have success.
Our first appointment, I was really amazed that you knew more about D
just by performing your evaluation. We watched while you worked on him,
I was wondering what kind of results I would see if any. After the
evaluation, I went into the other room to give you my payment and
something sparked me to ask D to read. Knowing he would say “I can’t
read” and feel disappointed, he picked up the Dick and Jane book you
asked him to read at the beginning of the session and read out loud. I
was so amazed, I was yelling “he can read, thank you Star and thank you
Jesus.” I was overwhelmed with emotion, I couldn’t keep this to myself.
When we left your house I phoned my mother and put the phone to his
ear…mind you he never stopped reading the book until we got home. She
was crying and yelling, “he can read, my baby can read!”Just
a little history, D was struggling with his reading he could sound out
the same words up to 5 times and never remember what he had just reed.
After his initial BIT assessment he reed 42 pages of Dick and Jane in
seven minutes. I’m crying now as I’m typing this testimony…I have two
children whom suffer from ADHD and finally, I will not have to medicate
my youngest son. My oldest son will be next…thank you Star for finding
away for all of us!

“A. has struggled to learn his times tables all
year
long despite the fact that he has strong skills in math. Today, he was
so proud
to bring me home his times tables test of the number 4, this a timed
test and
not only did he finish it, but got all 10 problems right! He is now on
5’s. He also can write his numbers and not one number 9 is backwards
anymore!”

“I am writing to say, as a 100% disabled vet, who
was
hit by a lightning strike that left me with nerve, vision, hearing and
memory
problems. I have tried main stream medical and many alternative methods.
I
decided to try BIT. I will say that the improvements I saw as well as
those pointed out to me by others was remarkable. My thought process had
been
scrambled in the lightning and it was difficult to hold my train of
thought
while teaching or doing many other things. My thinking became more clear
and
complete, most of all I became less stressed, more relaxed and able to
deal
with the of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from Vietnam. I can see a
huge
number of problems that this BIT technique could help.”
Thank you

“thought you would be excited to find out B. test
score from his speech and language pathologist. When he initially tested
back
in Aug. 2009 he was in the 6th percentile of all kids tested
in his
age group. He has been retested in the last 2 weeks May 2010 and is now
testing
in the 63rd percentile, average is 50th
percentile.
AWESOME!”

“if we go back 1 month ago March 2010, my son
complained 3 out of 5 mornings he had to go to school. He would say
“feel
my head, do I have a fever, my stomach hurts can I please stay home?”
How
it seemed Monday through Thursday was not enough days to memorize 5
words and
he had 15 to memorize before the test on Friday. Now he tells me after
only 2
appointment with you, “Mom, I think this is really helping!” After
2 and ½ weeks A. is a different kid. In the morning when it’s time to
get
ready for school, he is ready to face the day.”
Thanks

“A. DBA (District Benchmark Assessment) test results in Oct. 2009 were math 44 and in reading 14. After BIT in Nov 2009 she was retested in Feb. 2010 and her DBA (District Benchmark Assessment) results were: Math 55 that’s an 11 point jump and in reading 36 that is a 22 point jump up. The teacher told me 5 points they consider a big jump!”

“C. is doing very well and has tested one point
away
from gifted! The rest of his school career will be a breeze from a
learning
perspective.”

"M. was diagnosed with a slight ADD and was taking 18 mg. of Concerta on a daily basis. Overall M. was a well behaved student and without any major behavior issues, however M. could not focus on school work and was failing some classes and/or needed extensive tutoring. After BIT, M. no longer required medication, no longer required tutoring and is now an independent student and is on track to graduate High School. In fact, M.'s GPA is a 2.85 which was a huge difference from the 1.0 GPA he had previously. For M. BIT worked!"

“S. mentioned too, that she noticed an improvement
in
her ability to drive. She has a problem seeing the big picture, which
sometimes
includes stop signs. She told me she had worked on her homework and
finished it.
S. had to read from a history book and novel. She did both on her own
and did
the work in a small amount of time. She stated she felt comfortable with
her
ability to understand and retain the information.”
